And this year's award winners are... April 23, 2008 -- Anita Williams, a BSW student on the IU East campus at Richmond has received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, while Denise Weiss, also a BSW student, has received the Chancellor's Scholard Award. Williams, who works at the Area Nine office, an organization that deals with elderly and disabled, has been accepted into the IU School of Social Work's Master's program. Web site assists borrowers with student loan debt questions The National Consumer Law Center (NCLC) and the Project on Student Debt have developed the Student Loan Borrower Assistance Project that can help loan saddled social workers and other borrowers to find out more information about the recently passed College Cost Reduction and Access Act, among other student loan related issues. |

 Indiana University East School of Social Work 2005 Graduates
The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree program is part of the Indiana University School of Social work. The program is accredited by the council on Social Work Education. The BSW degree prepares students for generalist social work practice in such varied settings as Child Welfare, Corrections, Mental Health, Aged, Rehabilitation, Industry, Assistance, and many others.
Associates in Human Services: The Human Services program offers an Associates degree in Human Services and two certificate programs.
Alcohol/Drug Certificates:There is a five and a seven course certificate program available in Addictions.
Gerontology Certificates:We also offer a four and a seven course certificate program in Gerontology.
